When deciding on a flat, considering Vaastu Shastra principles can be important for many to ensure a harmonious and positive living environment. Here are 10 Vaastu points to keep in mind:

Direction of the Main Entrance: The entrance is crucial in Vaastu. North or East-facing entrances are usually considered auspicious.
Position of the Kitchen: Ideally, the kitchen should be in the South-East corner of the flat. The cook should face East while cooking.
Master Bedroom Placement: The master bedroom is best located in the South-West corner for stability and strength.
Living Room Location: A living room in the North-East direction is considered good as it allows morning sunlight, which is beneficial for health and positivity.
Bathroom and Toilet Placement: Bathrooms and toilets should ideally be in the North-West corner of the flat to minimize negative energy.
Balcony or Windows: East or North-facing balconies and windows are preferred as they allow ample sunlight and fresh air.
Placement of Water Sources: Sources of water like tanks or underground water storage should be in the North-East.
Children’s Room: The children’s room can be in the North-West or West side of the flat.
Avoid Beams Overhead: Ensure there are no beams running through the center of the rooms as they can cause health issues.
Colors and Aesthetics: Light and soothing colors are recommended in Vaastu as they bring peace and positivity.

Remember, while these guidelines can be helpful, personal comfort and practicality should also be significant factors in your decision. Vaastu principles are traditionally followed in India and may vary based on individual beliefs and interpretations.
